Our family has been buying, renovating, and renting out homes for over 40 years. This family-owned business was built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and real estate know-how passed down through three generations.
The story begins with our grandfather, who was raised on a farm in Shelly, Minnesota. Proud of his Norwegian heritage, he started working at just 14 years old before moving with our grandmother in the 1950s. He launched a successful plastering business which he operated successfully over 50+ years. On the side, he also began building and selling houses with his own two hands.
Our father learned the home renovation trade doing plastering work for his father as a teenager in the 1970s. This gave him the confidence to start buying rental properties in his early 20s, kickstarting his real estate career. Over the next four decades, he steadily acquired a large portfolio of residential and commercial real estate, alongside a thriving property management operation.
As the five sons, we witnessed our parents’ entrepreneurial spirit firsthand as they grew their rental business each year. Naturally, we gained invaluable experience in the family trade from an early age, and most of us have been working in real estate or construction in some capacity since our teenage years.
When our beloved father passed away in 2021, we brothers decided to continue his legacy. Leveraging our combined expertise, we launched Lincoln Home Buyers – a family-run company built on the values that brought our family success over three generations.
